GEORGE WASHINGTON JOINS HORATION NELSON AT HEAD OF DERBY BETTING
Coral has trimmed George Washington to 12-1 (from 20-1) for next year's Derby after the Aidan O'Brien-trained colt was the subject of a substantial ante post wager today.
"A customer unknown to staff placed the £10,000 bet in a betting shop in Newcastle, and although Ballydoyle have a host of Derby contenders at this early stage, this person obviously reckons George Washington is the one to be with," said Coral's David Stevens.
