LEE STEPS IN FOR BRIAN AT NEWMARKET TONIGHT

Ex-Blue band member, Lee Ryan will replace Brian McFadden in concert at Newmarket's July Course tonight after racing. Brian has been forced to cancel due to an accident last night and is having surgery on his knee today. Joining Lee Ryan to provide a full night of entertainment for the finale Newmarket Night, will be the ever popular Abba tribute band, Abba Magic. This will be Abba Magic's second appearance at Newmarket and they will be performing all the hits from the hit West End show Mamma Mia.

Lisa Hancock, Newmarket Managing Director said "Whilst obviously it is a disappointment that Brian is unable to perform this evening, we are absolutely delighted to have been able to secure both Lee and Abba Magic at such short notice."

Last year as part of Blue, Lee performed to a sell out crowd and with his debut solo single "Army of Lovers" currently in the charts, it is great for Newmarket that he has agreed to play here this evening. Tickets for tonight are available on the gate from £18 - £27 in the Grandstand & Paddock and Members' Enclosures and we are forecast a warm and sunny evening. Gates open at 3.10pm and the first race is at 5.40pm.

The concert will start around 8.45pm.

Newmarket would like to wish Brian a speedy recovery.
