Frankie Dettori, favourite for both the Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood meetings and fresh from his transatlantic success aboard Crimson Palace in the Beverly D Stakes at Arlington, is Ladbrokes' favourite once more to land the leading jockey's title at York this week.


"As the odds suggest, going into this meeting we think Fallon will keep his jockey's crown for the flat season but we do fancy Frankie to be crowned King of the Knavesmire," said Balthazar Fabricius of Ladbrokes.


"Frankie may not win the war but he should win this particular battle," added Fabricius.
