TOTE HIT RECORD ON COURSE TURNOVER AT GOODWOOD

The Tote recorded a record week in terms of turnover at Goodwood this week, when takings over the course of the ‘Glorious meeting’ were 11.5% up on last year.

“It was another great festival for the Tote with the £3million barrier broken for the first time at the ‘Glorious meeting’, as well as Tote punters who benefited from the reduction in deductions for the first time this year,” said Tote spokesman Jeremy Scott.

“Despite the heavy rain on Tuesday, turnover was up on last year on each day this week.”
