NAYEF RUNS IN ROSE OF LANCASTER STAKES




Nayef , the winter favourite for the Sagitta 2000 Guineas and Vodafone Derby, continues at comeback at Haydock tomorrow in the £40,000 Petros Rose of Lancaster Stakes.
After disappointing in the Craven Stakes and the Sagitta 2000 Guineas, the Gulch half-brother to Nashwan and Unfuwain put up a more encouraging performance when third to Alexius in the Group Three Peugeot Gordon Stakes at Glorious Goodwood. Connections said after that race that he could possibly be supplemented for the Rothmans Royals St Leger at Doncaster.
