GODOLPHIN AMERICAN TWO-YEAR-OLD OFF THE MARK


Eoin Harty's E Dubai became the Godolphin American two-year-old operation's first winner at Del Mar yesterday.


The Mr Prospector colt, with David Flores up, won the second race of the day, a five furlong two-year-old maiden on dirt, at the South Californian racecourse.
Harty handlles about 30 two-year-olds who were initially based at Santa Anita Racecourse.

Appointed in December, Harty, formerly assistant trainer to Bob Baffert, got to know the two-year-olds at Grandstand Stables in Dubai before they came to America in late April.

Zahoom who ran in the same Del Mar race, finished fourth under Alex Solis.




WILLIAM HILL BETTING


Tillerman, El Gran Papa and Tayseer, the first three home in Ascot's Tote International Handicap on Saturday all still hold entries for the William Hill Mile at Goodwood on Thursday. However, connections are yet to confirm running plans and therefore Hill's are betting accordingly.
