Doncaster Racecourse announces today the sponsorship of the seven-furlong Park Stakes by OLBG.com, the online sports betting community.

The Group Two OLBG Park Stakes, for three-year-olds and upwards, is run on the fourth and final day of the Ladbrokes St Leger Festival - Saturday, September 15.

The £100,000 race has no penalties for horses who have won at Group One and Group Two level because Doncaster Racecourse wants to attract the best possible runners.

OLBG.com is a fun and friendly sports betting community where knowledgeable punters discuss and share predictions on a wide variety of events as they work together in their quest to beat the bookies.

The company’s representative, Stefanie Reeve, said "We are thrilled to be involved with Doncaster’s biggest racing day of the year.

“Following the excitement of sponsoring the OLBG Mares Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, where OLBG members’ tips bashed the bookies, the OLBG Park Stakes gives our members another high-profile racing event to be closely involved with."

The sponsorship agreement is for three years and Doncaster Racecourse Managing Director, Mark Spincer, welcomed OLBG.com.

He said: “It is great news that OLBG.com is backing the Park Stakes which is one of the top races run at Doncaster.

“We look forward to working with OLBG.com to promote the race over the next three years.”
