ASK POPULAR FOR GOLD CUP AS PUNTERS GEAR UP FOR ROYAL ASCOT
Ask has been the main mover with totesport on the eve of Royal Ascot and Sir Michael Stoute’s entire is now 6/1 (from 7/1) for the Gold Cup on Thursday.
Ryan Moore has been all the rage to be top jockey at the meeting as well and has been backed to now share favouritism at 9/4 (from 11/4) with Richard Hughes.
‘We stuck our necks out making Richard Hughes favourite to be top jockey at Royal Ascot when we opened betting but punters clearly don’t agree and it’s been one-way traffic since,’ said totesport spokesman George Primarolo.
