AMERICAN TRAINER WESLEY WARD TO WORK FIVE HORSES ON THE ROWLEY MILE TOMORROW
Five Wesley Ward-trained horses will work on the Rowley Mile at Newmarket tomorrow, Wednesday, June 10.
The quintet includes Cannonball, who holds an entry in the Group One Darley July Cup at Newmarket’s July Festival on July 10 and is an intended starter in the Group One King’s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot next Tuesday, June 16.
Four two-year-olds will also work, ahead of their intended outings at Royal Ascot next week. The juvenile quartet will consist of Strike The Tiger, who has the Windsor Castle Stakes as a target, the filly and Queen Mary Stakes aspirant Jealous Again, Norfolk Stakes hopeful Yogaroo and another filly, Aegean, who has the Albany Stakes as her target.
The horses are expected in the parade ring at 8.45am with the workout commencing at 9.00am. Kieren Fallon will be part of the trainer’s team at Newmarket tomorrow.
