HURRICANE RUN AND ALKAASED THROW DOWN CHALLENGE TO MOTIVATOR
Andre Fabre's Hurricane Run is 7-1 from 14s with totesport for the King George following his win in today's Budweiser Irish Derby. He remains a 5-1 shot for the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe.
Luca Cumani's Alkaased, who landed the Group 1 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud in great style for Frankie Dettori, is just 5-1 from 14s for the King George and 8-1 from 25s for the Arc.
Spokesman Damian Walker said: "Alkaased and Hurricane Run have really thrown down the gauntlet to Motivator who heads totesport's King George betting at 6-4.
"Connections of Motivator's King George rivals will also note that The Derby form was hardly advertised with the Epsom second (Walk In The Park) and fourth (Fracas) well beaten at The Curragh today."
Aidan O'Brien's George Washington has been cut to 16-1 from 20s for the 2,000 Guineas by totesport following his three-quarters of a length win at The Curragh today.
Walker added: "George Washington won well enough today but his ante-post Guineas supporters will be hoping that in time he learns to settle a little better in his races as he was quite free again today."
