KING'S NOT BEST? Joe Mercer, racing manager for owner Saeed Suhail, has responded to rumours about King's Best, the Sagitta 2000 Guineas winner being stiff following his impressive work-out on the Newmarket gallops on Wednesday. He said: "I spoke with Michael this morning and he says the horse will definitely canter tomorrow morning. "He tweaked his back just before the Guineas after a work-out. He was just a little bit stiff behind in his bottom quarters. "He's having physiotherapy and all that sort of thing and he'll be fine. Michael's not too put out about it at all."
