totescoop6 WINNERS LOOK TO TAKE TOTAL WINNINGS TO OVER £750,000
The nine winners of last weekend’s totescoop6 will be looking to take their total winnings to over £750,000 if they manage to pick the winner of the bonus race on Saturday afternoon.
Last weekend’s winning punters each landed £160,048 and will now try and pick the winner of the coral.co.uk Sprint Handicap at Newmarket in order to scoop the £617,329 that is in the bonus fund.
One of the nine punters – Stephen McCabe from Littlehills, Auchinairn – won the Scoop6 last weekend after placing just a £2 stake in his local William Hill shop. He has worked at his local golf course for 25 years and is head greenkeeper there.
‘It’s been really hard to take it in, winning all that money and for only £2,’ said McCabe. ‘I'm also proud of myself that I managed to have only staked £2 and be up there with the big players of totescoop6. I've always liked the bet and have played it since it started.’
This weekend’s action comes from Newmarket and Haydock and the highlight of the bet sees a field of nine go to post for the Group 3 Timeform Jury Stakes at the latter track over seven furlongs.
‘We wish the nine punters all the very best as they look to land the whopping £617,329 that has rolled over in the bonus fund,’ said totepool spokesman George Primarolo.
