FAME AND GLORY CUT FOR DERBY AS STABLEMATE WINS DANTE
Coral have trimmed Fame And Glory to 5-2 favourite (from 11-4) for next month's Derby after his trainer Aidan O'Brien saddled a 1-2 in today's Dante Stakes. The York winner, Black Bear Island, is 6-1 (from 16-1) for the Epsom Classic, while former favourite Crowded House is out to 12-1 (from 11-2).
"Aidan O'Brien dominates the Derby betting, and although Johnny Murtagh was not on board the Dante winner, his choice of Derby mount could provide the biggest clue as to the Ballydoyle pecking order," said Coral's David Stevens.
5-2 (from 11-4) Fame And Glory, 10-3 Sea The Stars, 6-1 (from 16-1) Black Bear Island, 8-1 Gan Amhras, 10-1 Rip Van Winkle, 12-1 Crowded House, Freemantle, 16-1 Age Of Aquarius, Harbinger, 20-1 Sans Frontieres
