Ronan Keating has smashed all previous Newmarket Nights' records by selling out across all enclosures nearly two months in advance of the event. The crowd on the Friday 15th July will be a full capacity 19,000 racegoers. All the other Nights are also selling very well, so advance booking is strongly recommended.
A sensational line-up of star acts will be gracing the stage at Newmarket's July Course this summer, taking the heady mix of horseracing and music on a Friday evening to another level.
There are a variety of music tastes from established names like Ronan Keating and Will Young to old favourites such as Jools Holland and Status Quo. Amongst the Newmarket Nights debutantes are some familiar faces like Brian McFadden and Delta Goodrem, but there is also a rising star in the form of Lucie Silvas.
The stunning new British singer/songwriter is a real talent to watch for in the future. With her third single, The Game is Won', newly released from her debut album Breathe In', Lucie is the hidden treasure of the 2005 series.
Since her first live appearance singing Endless Love' for Radio 2 listeners with Lionel Richie, she has performed for Elton John, with Daniel Beddingfield, featured on Parkinson' and dueted with the likes of Burt Bacherach. Lucie Silvas is climbing the music ladder at an exciting pace.
"Ronan Keating has taken the box office by storm and we look on course for a sensational summer of Friday Nights this year," enthused Newmarket's Sales & Marketing Manager, Gaynor Haxby. "I really would urge people to plan ahead if they fancy giving the Newmarket Nights a try. There are advance booking discounts and even bigger reductions if you can get a group of 20 or more friends, family or work colleagues to come along."
