GOFFS FRANCE BREEZE UP SALE

Goffs France will hold their Breeze Up sale on Saturday 17th April at Saint Cloud racecourse. This sale is now firmly established in France, becoming more international every year both in terms of horses offered, and buyers.

The juveniles can be seen cantering over 3½ furlongs on the racecourse's straight course on the Saturday morning and the sale will be held in the early afternoon.

In 2003, the best Goffs France Breeze Up winners were STORMONT, Gr.2 winner over 6 furlongs at Baden-Baden, STAR VALLEY, dual Listed winner and Group placed, TRIPAT, winner of the Gr.3 Prix Chemin de Fer du Nord, PARAIYOR, dual Listed winner, QUI ES TU and JAZZ SWEEP both Listed winners, and many other flat and N.H. winners. In past years, Group 1 winners like MAROTTA, ADMISE and SHAMIAD have all come out of the Goffs France Breeze Up Sale.

128 lots will canter and go through the ring, among whom, many are by confirmed stallions such as Anabaa, Barathea, Belong To Me, Boundary, Groom Dancer, Highest Honor, In The Wings, Inchinor, Kaldounevees, Kendor, Machiavellian, Marju, Mark Of Esteem, Night Shift, Selkirk, Silver Hawk, Soviet Star, Spectrum, and Trempolino.

Almost a quarter of the horses in the sale are by first season sires of 2y.o.'s like Montjeu, Sendawar, Dansili, Almutawakel, Mujahid, Rossini, Royal Anthem, Muhtathir... On the track, close attention will be paid to the offspring of exciting young sires who made an impact in 2003: Cape Cross, Verglas, Starborough, Poliglote and Gold Away.

Many lots are from good maternal families; worth noting are a half brother, by Starborough, to Classic hope Green Noon, a half brother to Juvenile Gr.3 winner Latice, a half brother to Gr.2 San Francisco Mile winner Wavy Run, and to useful 2003 juveniles Lovage and Melon Rouge…

In the catalogue there will also be horses closely related to Cerulean Sky, Spain, Chargé d'Affaires, Epervier Bleu, Celtic Arms, Strategic Choice, Oak Hill, Sayf El Arab, Miss Demure, Dolores, Volochine, Arabian Light, Modhish, Pursuit Of Love, Persianlux, Jokerman, Shigeru Summit, Daralinsha, Abbatiale, Divine Danse, L'Ancresse, Loupy Glitters, Foundation Spirit.
