A syndicate from East Sussex could become the biggest winners ever on the totescoop6 on Saturday as they chase the record-breaking £2,469,009 bonus fund in the William Hill Top Team Football Prices Handicap at Lingfield (3.35).

The syndicate were the sole winners of last weekend's Scoop6 and pocketed £1,541,739.47 after relying on the unnamed favourite in the final leg at Sandown, which was won by Can't Buy Time. If they manage to pick the winner of the bonus race on Saturday, they will have won a total of £4,010,748.47.

However, with there only being one ticket going for the bonus fund this weekend, there is a good chance that the bonus could roll over once more which means that any winners of this Saturday's Scoop6 could get a chance to win the pot next weekend.

This weekend's Scoop6 action takes place from Kempton, Lingfield and Wolverhampton with the bonus race being the fourth leg (3.35 Lingfield).

'The bonus fund has rolled over since September but one ticket is now tantalisingly close to collecting the biggest single dividend in Scoop6 history,' said totesport spokesman George Primarolo.

'However, the bonus could still be up for grabs next weekend so we expect plenty of interest in Saturday's Scoop6 as punters continue to eye up a potential jackpot.'

Should Kempton be abandoned, the Scoop6 will operate on the remaining four races but any winners would not be eligible for the bonus fund next weekend.
