TOTE BETTING CHANGES

Marcel is out 9-1 from 6-1 in the Letheby & Christopher Supreme Novice Hurdle after a very disappointing third at Exeter today. Race winner My Way De Solzen is into 12-1 from 33-1 and is 16-1 for the Royal& SunAlliance Novice Hurdle.

Spokesman Damian Walker said: “Even allowing for the soft ground this was still a disappointing effort from Marcel and we had no option but to push him out. My Way De Solzen was staying on well behind Marcel at Sandown last time and clearly relished the test of stamina on soft ground at Exeter today.

“He is in both Cheltenham novice races and must have a fair chance in either
event.”

Watson Lake is into 7-1 from 14s for the Irish Independent Arkle Chase after an easy win in the Flyingbolt Novice Chase at Navan. Favourite Ulaan Bataar was extremely disappointing and finished exhausted.

Walker added: “Noel Meade's horses are back in form and his Watson Lake would be a danger to all on easy ground in the Arkle. Ulaan Bataar was very disappointing and had an extremely hard race. He has a mountain to climb if he is to bounce back in the Arkle."

Emotional Moment was cut two points to 12-1 after a facile success at Navan. Emotional Moment's win was made all the easier following the early departure of his main market rival Solerina.

In the Queen Mother Champion Chase Azertyuiop is 15-8 from 9-4 after heavy support last night and again this morning. Moscow Flyer has been eased to 13-8 from 6-4.

Walker added: "We felt that Well Chief left his race behind at Cheltenham jumping poorly at Newbury yet he was staying on strongly at the finish and only beaten two and a half lengths.

"Of the front three we wanted to get Azertyuiop in the book and have certainly done that holding our price until midday today after significant support. Moscow Flyer is now a winner in our book and Well Chief a very small loser with Azertyuiop our big loser."
