BP= best price at the time of writing

1) -123 Azertyuiop Paul Nicholls 8-11-10 Ruby Walsh
The reigning two-mile Champion Chaser won on his seasonal reappearance at Exeter before going down to Moscow Flyer in the Tingle Creek at Sandown. He didn't seem to stay three miles in the King George last time. Has to concede 4lb to Well Chief and, in theory, that rival should reverse Sandown placings but Azertyuiop comes here fresher. BP= 11/8

2) 2323 Kadarann Paul Nicholls 8-11-10 Joe Tizzard
Consistent performer but has always proved just slightly short of the very best and is unlikely to be able to challenge the main protagonists here. BP=20/1

3) 5312 Mister McGoldrick Sue Smith 8-11-10 Dominic Elsworth
Reserves his best efforts for Wetherby and benefited from the departure of Well Chief when landing the Castelford Chase over Christmas. Tough and consistent sort but up against it off these weights. BP=16/1

4) 1437 Armaturk Paul Nicholls 8-11-06 Christian Williams
Has won twice at Cheltenham this season but struggled since and faces a tough task. BP=25/1

5) 23F1 Well Chief Martin Pipe 6-11-06 Timmy Murphy
Last season's Arkle winner and showed he was well up to championship level when finishing third in the Tingle Creek behind Moscow Flyer and Azertyuiop. Fell when going well in the Castleford at Wetherby before readily defying top weight to win the Victor Chandler Handicap Chase at Cheltenham a fortnight ago. Gets a valuable 4lb from Azertyuiop but does he deserve to be odds-on? BP=4/5

6) P774 Get The PointDr Philip Pritchard 11-11-00 Paul Flynn
Purely making up the numbers. No chance whatsoever. BP= 1,000/1

This is a match between Well Chief and AZERTYUIOP. The latter has a great record and should prove up to conceding the 4lb. He also has the benefit of coming here a fresh horse.
