After the weekend action and with only two weeks left until the Festival begins, Baracouda is Mondays catch of the day. Despite ending a long winning streak when second to Deano's Beeno in the Long Walk Hurdle in December, the long time Stayers Hurdle favourite is reeled in another notch again today at Hills and is now 6-4 from 13-8.

STRONG NOMINATION FOR DUBAI'S INAUGURAL SUPER SATURDAY
Racing's reigning world champion Grandera and last yearıs Hardwicke Stakes winner Zindabad head a strong nomination for the AED350,000 Group III Dubai City Of Gold, one of seven feature events that make up the Dubai Racing Club's newly inaugurated Super Saturday.
To be held on March 8 at Nad Al Sheba, Super Saturday was introduced into the 2002/2003 UAE season to provide a programme of events that have a direct lead-in to the worldıs richest racemeeting, the Dubai World Cup, three weeks later.
Nominations for Super Saturday closed on February 19 and with the expected strong representation from Godolphin has come impressive nominations from trainers internationally.
Among many highlights for the evening will be the reappearance of last season's outstanding three-year-old Sulamani in the AED350,000 Group II third round of the Al Maktoum Challenge, confirmed as a definite runner by Godolphin Racing Manager Simon Crisford last Thursday.
Champion South African trainer Mike de Kock has nominated UAE 2000 Guineas winner Victory Moon for the US$200,000 Al Bastakiya while his top class mare Ipi Tombe is among an impressive list nominated for the AED350,000 Jebel Hatta, the main lead-in for the US$2,000,000 Group I Dubai Duty Free.
"Super Saturday is an exciting concept to provide trainers with an opportunity to give their horses a run at Nad Al Sheba leading up to the Dubai World Cup meeting and looking at the nominations many have taken up the opportunity," said Emirates Racing Association Chief Executive, Mr Les Benton.
"It promises to be one of the highlights of the Emirates racing season and looking at the horse nominated and those that appear likely to run, it is a programme that is sure to come under the gaze of many internationally."
French-based trainer John Hammond has already confirmed his quality sprinter Crystal Castle as a running in the Group III Mahab Al Shimaal, a race that will decide the UAE's champion sprinter with State City. Feet So Fast and Persuasivo Fitz all likely runners.
Dermot Weld has nominated One More Round for the AED350,000 Burj Nahaar, the main lead-in to the US$1,000,000 Group II Godolphin Mile, as well as Mutakarrim for the Dubai City of Gold.

EXCITING CLIMAX TO DONCASTER'S JUMPING SEASON
Doncaster's 2002/03 season over Jumps comes to a quality conclusion with a two-day meeting on Friday and Saturday (28 February and 1 March) which offers prize money in excess of £141,000 - an increase of 25% over last year's fixture.
Saturday's seven-race programme begins at 1.35 p.m., the feature race being The Grimthorpe Handicap Chase over three miles, with a total prize fund of £35,000. This long-standing race on Town Moor could attract a number of Grand National entries.
The Tote Scoop6 Handicap Hurdle (extended three miles), The Auckley Handicap Chase (two miles, three furlongs) and The Light Infantry Plate Novices' Hurdle (extended two miles, three furlongs) complete Saturday's highlights.
Racing on Friday is scheduled to start at 2.00 p.m., the most valuable contest being the £20,000 South Yorkshire Mares' Only Handicap Hurdle over the extended two miles, while The Doncaster Racecourse Sponsorship Club Novices' Chase is the longest race on the card, contested over three miles.
The giant ToteVision Screen located in the centre of the course, will enable racegoers to follow the action more closely on both days, while musical entertainment on Saturday in the main betting hall is provided by The Northumbria Band and Buglers of The Light Infantry. The popular creche facility in the Family Enclosure is in use during the meeting at £1.80 per hour.
