SPONSORS FAVOUR SYNCHRONISED FOLLOWING CORAL WELSH NATIONAL DECLARATIONS
The Jonjo O’Neill trained Synchronised is the 7-1 favourite with sponsors Coral for the Welsh National, following the latest declaration stage for the Chepstow showpiece.
This years Irish Grand National winner, Bluesea Cracker, trained by the lesser known James Motherway, is the 9-1 second favourite with Coral, having been cut to 9-1 from 12-1.
“With the winning Aintree combination of McManus, O’Neill and McCoy involved, Sychronised has a favourites chance of steering AP to his first ever win in the Coral Welsh National,” said Coral spokesman Gary Burton, “and after scooping a fortune from us on the Sports Personality, punters have plenty in their pockets to back their racing idol!”
Elsewhere, Coral have opened betting ‘without the favourite’ on the King George at Kempton on Boxing Day and the World Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, and make Long Run at 10-3 and Karabak at 7-2 the respective favourites, in the absence of the odds-on market leaders Kauto Star and Big Bucks.
