William Hills’ Latest Racing Bulletin

Alan King’s Halcon Genelardais put himself in the John Smith’s Grand National picture with a good win in the Coral Welsh National at Chepstow today and Hills inserted him in to the reckoning as a 20-1 shot.

Over at Kempton, Voy Por Ustedes was trimmed to 5-2 from 7-2 for the Queen Mother Champion Chase following his odds-on win, while a useful looking JCB Triumph Hurdle trial resulted in victory for Paul Nicholls and Poquelin, quoted at 16-1 for Cheltenham.

In Ireland, those who took the 20-1 on offer for De Valira in the JCB Triumph Hurdle this morning will be feeling pleased with themselves as he is now quoted at 10-1 following his run at Leopardstown this afternoon.
