Newmarket Racecourses is pleased to announce the first act in the 2007 Newmarket Nights line-up. INXS will be performing on Friday, June 22, the first of seven Newmarket Nights at the newly redeveloped July Course.

The Australian rock band was originally formed in 1977 by the late Michael Hutchence and enjoyed huge success in the 1980’s and 1990’s. Following a search for their new lead on the CBS reality show, “Rock Star: INXS”, singer J.D. Fortune joined the band in 2005. The new line-up has received superb reviews from both fans and critics.

Lisa Hancock, Managing Director of Newmarket Racecourses, said: “We are very pleased to announce our first act for 2007. INXS will be a great opening to the 2007 Newmarket Nights.”

The remaining six acts in the 2007 line-up will be announced, as soon as they are confirmed, on the Newmarket Racecourse’s Website.

Tickets for INXS at Newmarket Nights are priced at:
Premier Enclosure - £28
Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure - £18
Garden Enclosure - £12

There are a limited number of child admissions priced at £5 each. Once the limited number have been sold, children will be charged at the full adult rate.

Tickets are now on sale and can be booked online for a 5% discount at www.newmarketracecourses.co.uk. Tickets can also be booked through the Newmarket box office on 01638 675 500.
