The Tom Mullins-trained Time Electric Installed As Favourite For Cheltenham Festival Bumper

William Hill have opened betting on this years Weatherbys Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival. The bookmakers make Time Electric, who was an impressive winner of a bumper contest at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival their 8-1 favourite for the 2 mile flat race.

Other horses that are prominent in their opening show of betting include Big Eared Fran, and the Willie Mullins' impressive Gowran Park winner, Lilywhitedancer.

Two horses that raced at Thurles this afternoon have also entered the Bumper equation. Oscar Time received a 20-1 quote from Hills' for the Cheltenham Bumper, while the third horse Otay Kawn trained by Willie Mullins' impressed the bookmakers enough to get a 14-1 quote for the Festival contest.
