PUNTERS STRIKE GOLD AT SOUTHWELL

Two William Hill telephone clients kick-started the New Year in unbelievable style on Tuesday when they backed what may turn out to be the biggest priced winner of the year, as 125/1 chance Tioga Gold landed the 1.20 at Southwell on Tuesday.

Whilst 99.9% of the countries punters will have been floored, one Hills internet client had £5 win and a lady debit client had 35 e/w on the big priced winner (paid £84.20 on the Tote).

"How do you find winners like that?" said David Hood. "I think the lady must be Mystic Meg, or at the very least she got given a Crystal Ball for Christmas! Good luck to them."
