NEW GROUP COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR APPOINTED TO THE TOTE
The tote announced today that David Craven has joined the company in the newly created role of Group Commercial Director.
David will report directly to the Chief Executive, Trevor Beaumont, and will be part of the Executive Committee
David started his working career as a journalist before moving into the gaming market as a founder of internet and TV giant, UPC Interactive. He was also the Chief Executive of 24 Dogs and later became the Chief Executive Officer of World Gaming Plc, where he turned the company round from bankruptcy. Most recently he was the Director of Business at UK Betting Plc.
Commenting on his appointment David Craven said: "Clearly these are very exciting times at the tote and when I was offered the position, I jumped at it. As the company gets ready for privatisation, it has to become more commercially driven and I am looking forward to working with the Executive Committee in order to make that happen. It is probably one of the most exciting roles in the industry today."
Trevor Beaumont, commented: "I am delighted that David has joined the tote. His role will be to pursue and develop new business and commercial opportunities in line with our strategic plan. He will work closely with each member of the Executive Committee and with all business channels."
