£280,000 SCOOP6 ROLLOVER

A Scoop6 rollover in excess of £280,000 will ensure another busy day for the bet as punters pit their wits against the York and Southwell racecards.

The bet has not been won for the past few weeks, and as a result tomorrow's Win rollover is £132,913 and the Bonus rollover stands at £151,952.

Tote Press Officer Jeremy Scott commented:

"Despite some close calls the bet has eluded punters over the last few weeks. Last week a betting shop punter made it through to the last leg, and would have been proposing a toast had Almagnac won the magical sixth leg of the bet. Instead Caustic Wit came in and left more of a bitter taste in the mouth.

"A single winner tomorrow could expect to walk away with up to £200,000, and would have the chance to double this to nearly £400,000 by going for the Bonus race (probably the Tote Cesarewitch) at Champions Day Newmarket next weekend."

All six of tomorrow's legs will be broadcast live on Channel 4.

Tomorrows Scoop6 legs are:

Leg 1: 2.55 Southwell - Wetherbys-group.com Handicap Chase
Leg 2: 3.10 York - Worshipful Company of Woolmen Handicap
Leg 3: 3.40 York - Schroders Stakes Handicap
Leg 4: 4.15 York - Coral Eurobet Sprint Trophy
Leg 5: 4.30 Southwell - Tote Scoop6 Handicap Hurdle
Leg 6: 4.45 York - Newton Investment Management Stakes (handicap)

LIGHT LEADS EUROPEAN RAIDERS FOR TURF CLASSIC

Godolphin's Fantastic Light heads the European challenge for tomorrow's Grade One Turf Classic at Belmont Park, USA. The Rahy colt is attempting to follow up on his success in last month's Man O'War Stakes, also at Belmont Park.

Fantastic Light will be ridden by Frankie Dettori, who replaces Jerry Bailey.

The other European challengers include Michael Jarvis' Ela Athena, runner up to Fantastic Light last time out and the John Gosden-trained Commander Collins. Ireland is represented by the St Leger third Chimes At Midnight, trained by Luke Comer.

Subtle Power the King Edward VII Stakes victor when trained by Henry Cecil, will be having his first run for Bill Mott in the Turf Classic.

BRECKENBROUGH STABLES ON MARKET

Breckenbrough Stables, the former training bases of Jack and Lynda Ramsden, has been put on the market by current owner Dr John Hollowood.

Hollowood stated: "I am selling Brackenbrough which used to be owned by the Ramsdens and buying Highfield Stables at Malton."

There has been speculation that the Ramsdens, currently living in France, may return to train in Britain and could possibly buy Brekenbrough.
